Types of Business Accounts Offered
Whether you are a sole proprietor or a registered business entity, our SME Business Accounts are tailored to help you manage your finances efficiently, grow sustainably, and access finance when you need it.
We provide two account options to suit your business structure:
- Normal Business Account (Individual Proprietor)
- Opened in the proprietor’s name
- Minimum opening balance: 6,725 XOF
- Commission on Turnover (COT): 0.0807 XOF per mille
- Business Account (Company)
- Opened in the business’s name
- Minimum opening balance: 6,725 XOF
- COT: 0.0807 XOF per mille
To open an SME Business Account, you will need:
- Business registration certificates
- TIN (Tax Identification Number) certificate
- Valid ID for the business owner (National ID / Passport / Driver’s License / Voter’s ID)
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Completed KYC form
- National Revenue Authority (NRA) certificates
- Monthly Bank Statements – Available on request to help you keep track of your cash flow
- Cheque Book – Issued for convenient payments
- SMS Notifications – Optional alert service for real-time updates
- Online Banking – Available if requested, for 24/7 access
- COT Concession – Fees can be reduced depending on your total monthly turnover
- Credit Access – Eligible for business credit facilities like loans, overdrafts, and cheque discounting
