Who Is This Account For?
The Minor Savings Account is ideal for parents, guardians, or trustees who want to start with a modest investment and gradually save toward a child’s educational expenses.
Every year, one lucky account holder is selected for a full scholarship, covering tuition, books, and other academic costs up to high school completion.
Note: To qualify for the scholarship draw, the account must have a balance of 38,869 XOF or more at year-end.
This account can be opened and managed by:
- A parent, guardian, or trustee
- On behalf of a child aged 8 days to 18 years
To open a Minor Savings Account, please provide:
- Valid ID or passport of the trustee
- Two passport-size photos of the parent/guardian
- Completed KYC form
- Proof of address
- Resident permit (where applicable)
- Child’s birth certificate or clinic card
